SECTION 4: ORANUR
In December 1950, over into the beginning of 1951 Reich commenced the Oranur Experiment, which would go down in orgonomic history. Myself and other researchers such as Maglione, believe that Reich had probably had mild oranur effects in his working labs, Orgonon in Maine, USA, since the earliest days. Perhaps this was why he appeared fairly confident that orgone would overcome nuclear radiation without too much trouble. He had mildly radioactive substances such as radium paint, radium-doped luminescent zinc sulphide and his radioactive dial watch around ORACs for a good while. People were more relaxed about radioactivity in the 1950s. It was sometimes seen as a good thing, featuring as the mechanism whereby superheroes gain their powers. Uranium glass was popular for instance, families had glowing mildly radioactive fruit bowls!
Anyway, Reich was worried about the potential for nuclear war and about the war situation in Korea. He thought he needed to look into the anti-nuclear effects of orgone urgently. So he obtained three 1mg experimental radium needles. These would be considered fairly small amounts of radioactivity today but probably not easily available outside of a specialised lab. One was used as a control and kept away from Orgonon in New York, one was a control at Orgonon and one was experimental.
The experimental radium needle was put inside a very strong orgone accumulating set-up: it was placed in an 18 square foot orgone room, within a 20 fold-ORAC, inside a 1-fold smaller ORAC! So altogether, a 22-fold huge ORAC! Two mistakes were made which were crucial to discovering the oranur effect. Firstly, Reich did not measure the Geiger count, the measurement of excited, radioactive ion particles, immediately after the radium was first placed in the ORAC set-up. Secondly, an assistant who measured the background count in the lab an hour or so later, didn’t report that it had doubled from the normal for Orgonon-the labs usually had a higher background count than the environment. It was high though, even for Orgonon, perhaps four times the normal level of the area. Altogether, the radium was left in for some 5 hours before it was noticed something was going on.
When Reich came to check, the air was heavy, the walls of the OR room felt ‘glowing’ and ‘unbearably charged’. (Oranur Experiment, First Report, pp281). The radium counts in the orgone room were so high they jammed the counter. The radium was removed to a garage. The effects were not coming from the radium but from the orgone room itself, the amount of radium was far too small to create such an effect. The effects were absent from where the radium needle was taken. Airing didn’t remove the effects from the orgone room and labs. Other immediate effects were a penetrating salty taste, conjunctivitis, pressure around the cheek bone, nausea, weakness, loss of balance, pressure on the diaphragm, pale, cold or hot flushes and skin mottling.
All workers were removed from the lab area except for very short essential visits of a few minutes. Amazingly, despite these effects Reich continued to put the needle into the ORAC set-up for one hour a day for the next 8 days! On the last day blue and purple clouds could be seen inside the room. The radium needles were removed to a distance of half a mile from the lab to uninhabited land. It was not long until Reich himself felt some of the beneficial effects of the oranur reaction but the storm was still ongoing..
REICH ERA EXPERIMENTAL ARTICLES: ORANUR
Reich, W. (1949) Orgonotic Light Functions #1, #2 and #3 and a Motor Force in Orgone Energy OEB Vol 1, Num 1-4. (The three papers on light showed orgonotic light excitation in vacuum and gas tubes charged in ORACs. Orgonotic light functions evidenced the existence of orgone and the effect of the ORAC. In the 4th paper, a Geiger counter movement was converted into a motor movement over some 9 months of work by Reich, though not all the details are revealed in this brief summary including the secret Y Factor. See also his Geiger counter papers for a more extensive account on the background to the orgone motor. The Geiger counter papers are in the OEB and republished in Oranur Experiment First Report. These 4 papers are here included as none would be possible without the ORAC or the room sized ORAC Reich built at Orgonon.
These papers are also included here too in the oranur section for a number of reasons. Firstly, Reich had used radioactive materials since the beginning of his orgone research in 1939, including radium paint and a vial of radium doped luminescent zinc sulphide actually stored in an ORAC. So a mild oranur effect may always have been present at Orgonon. Secondly, it is suspected that the orgone motor, discovered around 1948, may have depended on an oranur reaction–see Maglione for in-depth analysis on this. Thirdly, light excitation is a form of electro-oranur effect, excited orgone, although Reich didn’t use this term, he knew electricity excited orgone. A light effect in a vacuum tube is therefore an oranur phenomenon). ALSO in ORAC Section. FOUR papers.
Reich, W. (1951) The Oranur Experiment First Report, Orgone Institute Press. Currently Available from Wilhelm Reich Museum, also in OEB (1951). (An outline of the oranur experiment in some 160 pages looking at visual orgone functions, excited particles, vacuum tube excitation, X-Ray photographs of orgone, the Geiger count effects of orgone and antenna grid radio effects. A detailed step-by-step account of the actual oranur experiment where the radium needle was put into a very strong ORAC set-up for 5 hours initially, provoking strong reactions. It was then continued for 1 hour a day for just over a week until blue and purple clouds were apparent in the orgone room and the effects were such that it was discontinued altogether. The ongoing effects upon staff were apparent for a long time. The buildings were impossible to use for months).
Reich, W. (1953) The Blackening Rocks, OEB, Vol 5, Num 1-2, pp28-59. (In the spring following the oranur experiment effects upon rocks in Reich’s observatory were noticed. Different rocks were turning into a grey powder and then into a hard black substance with a spongy rough appearance. The black hard substance was coal-like but didn’t burn and didn’t contain much bions. The grey power on the other hand was very bionous. The rocks gave off a strong warm radiation. Reich called the substance, Melanor, meaning Black Orgone. Media accounts of the unusual weather in the local area that winter are detailed. Reich and associates noted an unusual spring also, trees were brighter and earlier into bud around Orgonon than surrounding villages. Further biographical details of the period).
Grad, B. (1992/1951) Reminiscences of Wilhelm Reich and Orgonomy After Four Decades, JO, Vol 26, Num 1, pp5-17. (Interesting biographical account. Contains new details on Reich’s Oranur Experiment. After going in the Students Lab some 6 months after the Oranur Experiment, June 1951, he felt, ‘pins and needles in the ear-drum’ and a kind of pressure there. The lab was still in considerable disarray due to regular washing of the walls with water. Dr Tropp took him to see the 20-Fold ORAC that had stored the radium, which was now in some woods nearby. Dr Tropp wouldn’t go nearer than a 100 yards. Grad went close and felt a strong sense of oppression within 2 or 3 foot of it. He felt like he was losing contact with his surroundings and this feeling remained with him all day. On returning to Canada he could no longer sit in his own ORAC for more than a few minutes, previously half an hour or so had been fine. Grad also carried the oranur charge with him, he thinks, giving his friend a bad cold and conjunctivitis. His friend had once got those same symptoms after staying too long in an ORAC and said the illness felt exactly the same. Grad had perhaps brought an overcharge with him, to which he was himself accustomed.
He relates that Reich felt that the Oranur Experiment had affected even the Earth’s energy envelope. Grad relates that there was an ‘energy wall’ some miles from Orgonon and a different feeling once one had passed through it. Grad also ponders how there was a social ‘quiet revolution’ in Quebec not long after the Oranur Experiment, and asks if there is a connection. Also he ponders whether Chernobyl had any social knock-on effects, in terms of oranur, in the later collapse of the USSR 2 years afterwards).
McCollough, R. (1953) Melanor, Orite, Brownite and Orene, CORE, Vol 7, Num 1-2. (McCollough describes the blackening rocks process. All types of rock affected though not all rocks in the observatory were changed. Scraped melanor from the rocks had a very strong bio-energetic effect. Unscraped melanor was palpably warm to the hand. Brownite and Orite, the brown and white substances were less reactive. McCollough performed a chemical analysis. Melanor is acidic, Orite alkaline, Brownite neutral. Further chemcial analysis detailed. How to produce Orene described, a ‘pre-atomic’ substance created when sodium hydroyxide is exposed to a DOR atmosphere. It helps to clear DOR. Matter creation as a continual superimposition process of energy).
McCollough, R. (1955) Rocky Road to Functionalism, CORE, Vol 7, Num 3-4, pp144-154. (A biographical account of Robert, a biology and environmental researcher’s journey of learning with Reich. He became a research associate at Orgonon whilst working as a wildlife/biology worker nearby. He was a Masters graduate. He recounts that he repeated various experimental processes for himself confirming Reich’s findings, with bions, the electroscope, Experiment XX, made his own electric orgone field meter, and produced orgone chemistry substances and saw their reactions. He is particularly interesting in that there are some unique observations. Firstly he unwittingly repeated aspects of the oranur experiment. As a biology researcher sometimes he ‘ashed’ substances to see their reactions in a furnace he had in his garage. He ashed some very orgone-charged substances however and this created an oranur reaction of around 700 Counts Per Minute on the Geiger counter. He stopped the experiment due to uncomfortable sensations thereby. He noted the orgone substance melanor appearing in fish. And also uniquely he noted a reversal of magnetic polarity in oranur fields. He describes the difficult journey he made from a materialist viewpoint to a functional energetic based one, guided by Reich. The turning point for him was seeing colour as a function of energy and not simply an unimportant attribute of mass).
Steig, W. (1955) Table of Events, DOR Emergency, 1954-1955, CORE, Vol 7, Num 3-4, pp155-199. (This is a fascinating snapshot of hundreds of newspaper reporting clips from around the world indicating a situation of bioenergetic distress. There appears to be both a human and an environmental DOR emergency going on at a huge scale this year. Atomic testing dates are noted. This certainly seems to evidence that overwhelming DOR and worsening oranur are perhaps connected to degradation of human and environmental situations. Not strictly an experimental paper but Reich felt the DOR and oranur conditions in the 1950s may have been arising from nuclear experimentation, so it is included here).
Reich, W. (1957) Contact With Space, Oranur Second Report, Core Pilot Press. Currently Reprinted by Wilhelm Reich Museum (Reich reports on the cloudbusting expedition to Arizona, titled OROP Desert Ea. Ea was Reich’s term for UFOs, Energy Alpha. This approximately 280-page report details in-depth Reich’s biographical and experimental observations at this intense and tumultuous period in his life. His thoughts and experiences with Ea are outlined. The UFO attraction to cloudbusting and the effect of entraining cloudbusters on them – the so-called ‘stars’ fade out, even ‘wobble’. This was used in the later movie, Earth Vs The Flying Saucers, which is probably based on Reich. The development of the Spacegun is described, a radioactively enhanced cloudbuster. The radioactivity is obtained from denatured radium which has been exposed for a long time, some years, to strong orgone fields. It is called ORUR for ORgonised URanium – radium is made from uranium ore. Details of the OROP’s observation by the USAF and memoranda of the meeting with their representatives. Comprehensive outline of rainmaking operations in Maine and then the trip to Arizona, including difficulties of transporting the highly energetically active ORUR material. Description of energy attacks by UFOs involving DOR and oranur and of desert characteristics and DOR haze.
The space gun operations in Tucson Arizona are described in detail and the gentle oranur rains and desert greening effects which were seen as a result. These are still remembered to this day in Tucson Arizona, as I saw in a Youtube video, by an elderly gentleman, Joe Blankenship. The strange weather was of course widely reported in media at the time. Lastly cosmic self-regulation and desert processes are elucidated. Description of the orgone motor force as a result of excitation into luminous points of the orgone field is also noted. A few further notes on the orgone motor are elucidated, mostly relating to its dependence on orgonotic excitation. Calls the cloudbuster and spacegun the ‘twin brothers’ of the motor.).

POST REICH EXPERIMENTAL ARTICLES: ORANUR
McDonald, A. (1961) An Investigation into the Atmospheric Dancing Dots Phenomenom, OF, Vol 7, Num 2. (OF journal’s only full copy is in JS Battye Library, Australia although I have two original individual issues and an index of articles. A UV light was used with an ORAC. A reduction screen with two apertures, one of which contained a lens. This was put in place to view the ‘dancing dots,’ the light phenomena that can sometimes be seen in ORACs or in high concentrations of orgone, for example in orgone rooms, some call them ‘orgone units’. I see them on beaches, mountain tops or simply on hot summer days. McDonald found that the light phenomena appears to be objective as it can be viewed through his lens process. If one takes oranur as being excited orgone, whether achieved via electrical, light, organismic or radioactive processes then this would constitute the first oranur paper after Reich. Kelly considered the experiments well conducted – taken from Kelley, C. 1961, CP, Vol 1, Num 1, pp15).
Kelley, C. (1962) The Effects of DOR, CP, Vol 2, Num 2-3, pp92-102. (Previously Kelley had some DOR/Oranur unpleasant symptoms being near working cloudbusters; headaches, tension, pressure feelings in head. After a cloudbuster was stored in his basement, unaware that this might be problematic, a DOR infestation of the house occurred causing distress to Kelley and his young family. He tried to remove the DOR from the heating system using a small DORbuster within the basement aimed at the furnace but this did not work very well. However, he did manage to accidentally repeat Reich’s ‘Blackening Rocks’. The walls of his basement had the same reaction Reich reported. The rock substance blackened and the surface develops a granular structure, like a black mold but not soft.
In addition a strong radiation coming from the rock can be felt. Different rock types were affected. Photographs provided. When the cloudbuster had earlier been stored outside, trees within 60 foot of the apparatus were affected with leaves and branches drooping or dying. It should also be noted that atmospheric Oranur and DOR were particularly high at times in the 1960s. A cloudbuster is still active to some degree even when not in use. The metal pipes should also not ever be touched directly. Some oerators have used a remote control to aim the pipes). See Cloudbusting Section for full synopsis.
Demeo, J. (1975) Effects of Fluorescent Lights and Metal Boxes on Growing Plants, JO, Vol 9, Num 1, pp62-68. (Plant experiments evidencing that fluorescent lights can affect peas and mung beans sprouts via an oranur effect. The fluorescent tubes negatively affected the plants even through lead and concrete, light-tight, shielding. There is no conventional physics explanation for this effect as empty space theories would preclude any oranur effect transmitted through the shielding. Demeo briefly describes metal box plant experiments which supported Reich's view that iron and steel have life-positive effects. Lead, copper and aluminium appear to have a more stunting or overcharging effect upon sprouting mung beans. Steel had the most beneficial effect. Metals that had been near the electro-oranur process with the fluorescent lights were more life-negative than metals not exposed. Lead had some oranur protective effects.
Demeo also refers to Dr John Ott's research which showed fluorescent lighting can agitate animals and children (giving off X-Rays, radio waves and incomplete spectra). Ott stopped this effect by putting lead around the terminals of the tubes. Demeo tried to get such fluorescent lighting taken out from a day care centre planned for his university but was overruled by administrators on recommendation of a senior Professor who admitted not having even read the research, Ott’s or Demeo’s).
Demeo, J. (1978) Seed Sprouting Inside the Orgone Accumulator, JO, Vol 12, Num 2, pp253-258. (Concisely documented series of sprouting experiments and interesting discussion on seed vitality. Orgone treatment groups showed around a third increase in the sprout length compared to the control groups. Frequency distribution graphs indicated major differences between groups. A good choice of experiment as it allowed for easy control of large numbers of seedlings: 900 in total. The seeds used were two years old allowing for a reduced germination rate overall, which was intentional. The seedlings in the orgone groups germinated about 10% better than control seeds from the older seeds. Also reports some possible environmental oranur effects on a prior seedling pilot experiment which had a negative effect on the orgone seedlings but not the controls. However an environmental oranur effect was also reported for the second series in this study which did not appear to affect the orgone plants negatively). ALSO in ORAC Section.
Deutsch & DeCamp (1980) Rediscovering Melanor, JO, Vol 14, Num 2, pp163-170. (A melanor, or black orgone, substance was found to accumulate near to negative ion generators as a blackish film on furniture. The generators had been installed to try and tackle the DORish surroundings in Philadelphia by two University members. Adding saline to the scraped substance seemed to activate it and release a strong oranur reaction-this has also been noted by Reich and Kelley. This caused headaches, flu, and other unpleasant symptoms. The substance had high Geiger counts and slowed electroscopic discharge readings. It contained various microscopic structures, perhaps bions. After some time an expansive effect on the organism was instead found. Pseudonym used for authors to protect their university positions).
Blasband, R. (1988) The Orgone Energy Light, JO, Vol 22, Num 1,62-67. (A mercury vapour lamp is put in a one-fold ORAC with a fan behind it and a green filter. The net output is infra-red and green light, the other frequencies are mostly absorbed, especially UV. It is a possibly a sort of oranur orgone device. The device is termed an OR-Light.
In Study 1 the mice were irradiated with the OR-lamp for four minutes twice daily from when the tumours were palpable-10 days, until the fifth week. In Study 2 the mice were irradiated from a distance of 36 inches for eight minutes once daily.
Study 2 showed a statistically significant effect at P = 0.01 of the OR-Light in increasing lifespan. Study 1 showed a statistically significant effect at decreasing tumour size amongst young cancer mice (P = 0.05). In both studies the mice were implanted with tumours. This strain develops cancer spontaneously if left to age but in this experiment they were inoculated.
Numbers were 9 in first experiment series and 8 in the second, split into orgone versus control groups. There were changes from study 1 to study 2 in terms of the parameters measured-lifespan not reported in first series, water intake and weight recorded in second series. The study methods were not yet standardised between the two experimental series, especially distance from the irradiating device. A very interesting initial study of an oranur device which appears to show good treatment effects in cancer mice).
Brenner, M. (1991) Orgonotic Devices in the Treatment of Infectious Conditions, PP, Num 3, pp49-53. (..Blasband’s Orgone Energy Light, see above, an oranur device, was used beneficially to help a woman with severe recurrent cutaneous infections which were non-responsive to traditional interventions. Brenner reports on the only other documented case of using the orgone lamp, a device invented by Blasband. A one-fold orgone accumulator contained a 175 watt mercury vapor lamp, a ballast and a cooling fan. Directed by a reflector the light passes through a dark green sheet of glass. The device was effective in bringing about a rapid change for the better in a medically non-responsive case of recurrent cutaneous infections of the nose. Use of the light for short periods of a few minutes at regular intervals resulted in the nearly complete remission of the condition apart from occasional mild flare-ups that were treatable. Her Reich Blood Test also showed significant improvements during the use of the lamp). See Cloudbuster Section for Full Synopsis.

Maglione, R. & Ferrari, D. (2017) Electric currents in Orgone Devices #3, JPOT, https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/electric-currents-in-orgone-devices-3 (A further look at the electrical charging and capacity of ORACs. Capacitors were added which appeared to store up a small amount of electrical tension inside the ORAC versus control. In addition, when an exciting agent was added to the ORAC, in the form of some orgonotically charged liquid, a distinct increase in the electrical tension was noted. This perhaps points to the identity of the secret Y Factor of the Orgone Motor, as excitation of the orgonotic potential, Maglione argues). ALSO in ORAC Section.
Southgate, L. (2018) Preliminary Experiments with Controlled Oranur in a Strong Orgone Device, JPOT, https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/preliminary-experiments-with-electrical-capacitance-temperature-radioactivity-luminesence-and-other-observations-associated-with-controlled-oranur-in-a-strong-orgone-device. (The first full replication of Reich’s oranur experiment since 1951. A very strong orgone set-up, a large orgone cabinet with some dozen accumulating devices inside it was gradually introduced to a low amount of radioactivity, around a thousandth of that which Reich used. The box was gradually activated with this material moving it nearer each day until it was placed inside the set-up for a number of days. It was observed that a strong field extended about 2 foot, a less strong one to about 6 foot and again to 24 to 40 ft or more from the oranur box. Electrical capacitance and other effects were examined. Possible effects were noted in terms of a small increase in electrical tension in chemical batteries and electronic capacitors placed within the device versus control devices. Other possibly anomalous small changes in radioactivity, temperature, magnetism, luminescence and subjective observations associated with the device were found. A constant small TO-T was noted. A plasma ball, such as used in discos, once oranur charged, was found to have a strong blue luminescence without electrical DC input, simply by static charge stimulation).
Maglione, R. & Mazzocchi, A. (2017) Energie Eteriche e Luoghi di Culto. Il Sito Religioso come Luogo Terapeutico? Pilot Study of 62 Ancient Sites, Advanced Therapies Journal, Year VI, Num 1. Maglione, an orgone researcher examined whether ancient sites and churches have a raised oranur energy by examining their radioactivity levels. Separately, Southgate has also noted a feeling of oranurisation within large stone churches. Maglione and Mazzocchi did systematic studies on the radioactivity inside and outside pagan and Christian sanctuaries. Studies noted that not only do ancient prehistorical and religious sites have underground watercourses, which might act as Reich DOR-Busters, but that religious buildings and healing centres likely also have slightly higher oranur charges).
Maglione, R. (2018) The Origin of an Oranur Reaction, JPOT, https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/the-origin-of-an-oranur-reaction (A lucid and very clear overview of the oranur process. Reich and Southgate’s work is described and the common ground outlined. Further analysis of Southgate’s work and implications. Analysis of the impossibility that the reactions noted by Reich could have occurred due to conventional notions of the radioactive effects of the radium amounts in Reich’s 1951 experiments. Analysis of a radioactivity cloud that briefly went across Eastern and central Europe of a type related to ruthenium-106, a fairly rare compound used in small quantities in specialised medical treatments. The amount of the radioactive release, affecting half of Europe, temporarily, is unlikely to have occurred conventionally. Maglione wonders if this was an oranur reaction created in ORACs. The likely source was southern Russia).
Southgate, L. (2019) Further Preliminary Experimental Report on Oranur, JPOT, https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/further-preliminary-experimental-report-on-oranur. (Further observations following Southgate’s oranur experiment of 2017, reported in 2018. Movement of an ElectroMagnetic Field meter within a relatively weak oranur field resulted in consistently higher electrical and magnetic readings, about 2 to 3 times higher, than the same movement produced in a non-oranur atmosphere 50 foot from the oranur device. Orgone compounds, commonly called orgonite, were found to increase their charge after being kept within the oranur cabinet. Reich also used orgone compounds in his Pendulum experiments. Incense smoke was found to lower Geiger counts, possibly indicating that oranur is controlled by smoke, reminding one of it’s use with the Ark of the Covenant, a possible oranur device-see Maglione’s papers or The Legendary Shamir book.
Oranur experimental first aid: acute toothache, a listless dog during a heatwave, neck-ache, acute back pain, horsefly bite, heavy cold, allergic rash in the axilla and cold sores were all significantly helped with oranur applied via oranur-charged orgonite compounds. Oranur soaked orgonite compounds were found to be a useful way of dosing and applying oranur.
A possible retardation effect of the growth of Kefir cells in a probiotic health drink was also noted. Significant increases in orgonite charge as measured on a Heliognosis Orgone Energy Field Meter were found after oranur charging, possibly up to a third increase. Size and shape did not correlate well with orgone charge in the orgonite. Crystals alone also appeared to absorb and re-emit oranur charge. Himalayan salt crystals were found to melt within 6 foot of the oranur device but not when further away.
Small doses of oranur may be therapeutic to organisms. Orgone compounds or orgonite appear to have real effects and to absorb oranur. Prior exposure of orgone compounds to oranur appears to raise their orgone charge. Oranur treated orgone compounds may provide useful ways of applying and dosing oranur for therapeutic use. Oranur may have an antibiotic effect and a small melting effect on Himalyan salt crystals).

Hayes is the leading bio-form researcher in the world now. He uses a small cloudbuster and a Geiger counter to assist his photographic efforts. He believes the bio-forms are oranur entities, being composed of charged orgone plasma. In Part One the high quality evidence of Constable and the Italian team of Boccone are outlined including bio-forms photographed during Californian cloudbusting operations in 1975. The evidence presented previously by Collins and Demeo against the bio-forms is examined and found to be lacking.
All orgone bio-form researchers have found an accompanying energy peak, of charged particles, associated with the entities. This indicates an oranur reaction. They appear to be attracted to cloudbusters.
In Part Two stereoscopic video, multiple camera evidence, three dimensionality, plasma movement, complex movement, herd movement, chronological continuity and biological appearance of the bio-forms is outlined in a series of high quality pictures. The most complete presentation of bio-form evidence currently available). TWO Papers.

(Reich did not write detailed reports on the orgone motor, not feeling that the world was ready for it. Here Maglione gathers together the disparate accounts across the orgonomic literature regarding the motor. He also lucidly argues the case that the activating aspect for the motor, which Reich called the Y Factor is an aspect which raises orgonomic potential, something which increases orgone charge artificially, most likely radioactive in nature).
Southgate, L. (2020) Oranur and its Possible Applications in Artificial Intelligence, JPOT, https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/oranur-and-its-possible-applications-in-artificial-intelligence. (The reason Southgate wanted to examine oranur was to investigate how consciousness and orgone relate. This is an area not outlined by Reich as he acknowledged. The long process of finding a method for enabling the movement of orgone to be converted into complex information is described. Eventually it was found that the strong oranur field is capable of directly producing complex movement, which can then be turned into numbers. This is done via a subtle energy device called an Egely Wheel. This Hungarian device was developed for quantifying subtle energy streams from a person’s hands. The device can move independently within an oranur field. Southgate argues that a concentrated oranur field might be a future basis for non-organism based consciousness).
Southgate, L. (2020) A Preliminary Investigation into a Prototype Device Based Upon Reich’s Spacegun, JPOT, https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/a-preliminary-investigation-into-a-prototype-device-based-upon-reichs-spacegun (The ORUR material was created by burying the orgone charged radium needle, in its lead casing, alongside the non-charged needle and some other radioactive materials in a concrete and steel safe for 2.5 years. In one of the water-tight canisters a liquid somewhat like water appeared. This ORUR material was placed next to the cloudbuester. The energised cloudbuster seemed to have various expansive benefits on those nearby and also to clear the atmosphere very quickly bringing back sparkle and lustre, very often within a few seconds.
Southgate at first experimented with mini-Spacegun like devices, made of tubes, accumulating materials and small amounts of radioactivity. However these seemed to perhaps affect the mind more than the environment-the author had an Out Of Body experience when falling asleep near one. Sometime later a scaffold truck was noted near the large oranur box location, which was stored in an outhouse/garage backing onto a private side-road. The skies seemed to be clearing where the tubes were pointing on the truck. This prompted the creation of a spacegun-like device by placing scaffold tubes and other metal pipes into or alongside the box. This seemed to have a slow rain-clearing and sparkle enhancing effect upon the skies.
Eleven small operations with the tube set-up are described. This device works much slower than Reich’s spacegun, with an hour perhaps corresponding to a few seconds with Reich’s spacegun. The tubes were pointed for between 2 and 48 hours usually. A raised Geiger count was noted when the tubes were up).
Maglione, R. (2020) The ORUR, JPOT, https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/the-orur (ORUR is a special substance, denatured, orgone-treated radium. Maglione gathers together all the criticial experimental information about the ORUR in one place. Even in Reich’s Contact with Space the information is scattered throughout. Here Maglione reviews the oranur situation and background to the ORUR and explains what it is. Also contrasts Reich’s experience with ORUR and Southgate’s experiences with possible ORUR-like energies).
Milian et al (2020) Fluctuations in Measured Radioactive Decay Rates inside a Modified Faraday Cage: Correlations with Space Weather, www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-64497-0 (The decay rates or Geiger counts and electrical capacitance data obtained by the Milian team in their investigation of radioactivity in a small ORAC-like device, described above, and termed a modified Faraday cage, appeared to also have correlations with geo-cosmic influences).
Southgate, L. (2021) Possible Environmental and Shamanic Effects of Oranur, JPOT, https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/possible-environmental-and-shamanic-effects-of-oranur. (Experiences with the oranur device in central Liverpool where it was based in a healing centre for a while. Possible effects of brightening and drying the weather, when used with the tube set-up were seen on at least 3 occasions. Extensive flooding had previously occurred during an unusually wet winter. A decrease in particulate levels may have occurred after the spacegun-like operations from Liverpool. A statistical analysis of government data is reported regarding this. A decrease was seen in covid cases in the area concurrently. Possible wider health benefits of oranurisation discussed.
Also details how controlling oranur with smoke is similar to the shamanic practice of ‘smudging’. A ‘feel good’ factor associated with the device occurs. Enhancement of psychic effects and cartharsis during psychotherapy was seen. Effects of oranur on stone circles. Further notes on battery recharging effects, also regarding an oranur charged shaman who became able to charge batteries with her hands. Group consciousness effects and the heightening of spiritual phenomena are reported. Caution with oranur exposure with psychics/shamans is recommended. They are more sensitive to it than the general population).
Hayes, N & Southgate, L. (2024) Oranur and Paranormal Phenomena Part One & Part Two, JPOT, https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/oranur-and-paranormal-phenomena-part-one & https://www.psychorgone.com/orgone-biophysics/oranur-and-paranormal-phenomena-part-two. (In part one it is explored how oranur, or energised orgone may be associated both with consciousness and also with paranormal types of phenomena. Oranur might even be the medium that enables paranormal phenomena. A theoretical background supporting this hypothesis is presented. Historical evidence and past research supporting this view is discussed.
Part two presents the unusual bio-form and paranormal type phenomena that Southgate and Hayes have each photographed during their separate but oranur associated research. This involves Southgate’s oranur experiment in 2017 and Hayes’ ongoing work with Constable’s orgonotic bio-forms over many years. The similarity and unusual nature of the evidence is discussed. Thirty four high quality pictures from both of their research areas are presented. The pictures were very difficult to obtain).TWO Papers.
